This Lil Light of Mine

Here is another catch up post...this is a layout that we did in the beginning of November, entitled "This Lil Light of Mine". I love this bedtime bear, it was a painting that I had done a number of years ago, I can't remember the artist, but I took my painting and converted it into a svg file so I could cut it out with my Cricut. I made a few mistakes in the process, but it worked and as you can see, the layout turned out beautiful. I love how everyone's came out a little different and yet it was basically the same design.

X's and O's or Kisses and Hugs

Here is a layout that we made using vinyl in the layout...One thing about using the vinyl is that it cuts really nice and it is already sticky making it really nice to put on your layout...In this layout we used the black vinyl, and multi color buttons, Scal2 and of course my Cricut! Enjoy, and be sure to leave comments. Again if I am missing your photo, I am so sorry, if you have a digital camera and would like to email it to me, I will post them, I'm not sure where all my pictures have gone, but I'm missing a lot of them...must've been when I lost my hard drive that they didn't capture all of my files.

At the Playground

So I am so far behind, and I can't find all of the pictures I've taken, so if I am missing your layout, if you email me, I will put them up on the blog...So here is a layout we did back in November or the end of October. It was using the Cricut cartridges, some Surecutsalot files and copic markers. The girls loved the copics, and how nice they colored and blended. Again I apologize if I don't have your picture on here...I hope all who browse our pages, enjoy our layouts.

Hunting

Wow! I can't believe how far behind I am on keeping my blog up to date. Life for me has been very crazy for the last 2 months.  I have had oral surgery, and we took a trip to Florida to visit with our families. It was so worth it, time away with my husband and to visit with our moms and my dad and brother-in-law. We didn't have the greatest of weather, but just to be together and not have deadlines and bills and work made it so worth it. I am so grateful for having that time with my husband and family.

So I am going to start from this weeks layouts and work my way back and see if we can catch up. Apparently not all my pictures load, so if I am missing your picture, let me know so I can post it. I really do upload everyones pictures, but sometimes this site doesn't pick them all up and I didn't notice.

This weeks class was small in number, but we had a really good time...we did a page entitled "HUNTING". I personally do not have any hunters in my family, so I had no pictures to put on the layout of our fam...however my son's girlfriend, Kari, is quite the huntress :) we lov her...and last year she got a moose and so I will be putting her pictures on my layout.

I hope you enjoy our pages.

Halloween Layout

Here is another layout that we did for our Halloween Pictures...Thank you Lisa for your wonderful cut files...I love using your files
in my Layouts...I also created the Paper doll using Surecutsalot 2...Spider webs were purchased and cut with SCAL as well...Ghost and Bat and the witches pot again were cut with SCAL...so if you haven't got this program...you are missing out on all the ways your
Cricut can cut for you!
Some of the layouts on my site have been made by children ages 7 and up...as well as my adult ladies.
This group of Scrapbookers are totally an amazing group. Each one has some really unique talent and
everyone's pages come out so very nice. I love this group.

Don't forget to check out my new site, http://scutfiles.blogspot.com/ that has cut files for all you who have Cricuts and the Sure Cuts A lot Program, I will try and get another 50 to 60 files loaded by this weekend. If you have any requests, don't hesitate to email me at dimahi@hotmail.com
If you own a Cricut, here is an excellent software that allows you to cut any True Type font with your machine, as well as many cliparts can now be traced within the program turning them into an svg format, this feature alone makes getting SCAL2 worth it as you will never need to purchase any carts.
There are thousands of files out there for you to download for free or for a small fee that you can cut with your Cricut. I must say I use this software for almost every layout I have done when using my Cricut. I actually use it more than cartridges....don't tell Provo :)
